Kia ora, my name is Nicholas (Nic) Te Aute and I am the head coach of Te Maru Jiu Jitsu. My Jiu Jitsu journey started in Perth, Western Australia where I was privileged to learn under 4th degree black belt Fabio Coringa Nunes. After years of training in Australia and earning my black belt I returned home to Aotearoa to share my knowledge and techniques with my students. With the goal of providing world class Jiu Jitsu in a safe, friendly and fun environment Te Maru Jiu Jitsu was born in 2019. I look forward to meeting you all and growing together on the mats.
